Christian Education Minister/Men’s Ministry Leader
Rev. Norman Lee serves as an Associate Minister at St. Matthew Baptist Church under the support and care of Pastor Leroy Lacy. He was licensed under Pastor Lacy in 1996.
He retired from Crown Petroleum in 2011, after 35 years of service. Rev. Lee is now able to devote his time and people skills to his church and ministries. He is lead servant for Christian Education and the Men’s Ministry. He also teaches Sunday school, ministers at nursing homes, prison ministry and serves whenever and wherever he is needed. Through his ministries, his goal is to teach and encourage people to become devoted followers of Jesus Christ through His word, and faithfully practice Bible principles , as we reach out to others with the love of Christ through discipleship.
Rev. Lee has grown under the dynamic teaching and preaching of Pastor Lacy along with receiving an Associate Degree from the College of Biblical Studies, attending other Theological Seminaries and conferences.
While prayfully using his God-given gifts to do the will of God without compromise, Rev. Lee has a passion for teaching people how to apply the Word of God in their everyday lives. The scripture that best describes his values is 2 Peter 3:18 “Continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and forever. Amen”
Rev. Lee has been married to Bessie Lee for 36 years. He is the father of two and the grand father of Juliana.
